"He killed them all. It started with Witch, she'd taught him everything she knew and he killed her. Then he broke Decays mind and used him to kill the rest of the Squad. Me and Decep were the only ones that survived. He made his own squad where he's the leader, the bastard.  His team consist of Himself, Decay who's now nothing but a mindless shell that follows orders. Ghost Romani, a weapons expert.  Kalos, a man who can reshape his right arm out of any material and some Ventem clone. He needs to die. Will you help us kill him? Will you help us kill Ludwig?" Elijah said to J H Hamilton. J H sighed. He hated worlds like this, worlds where he had to get involved. "I will help you as long as Ludwig has this, what'd you call it?" J H asked. Decep looked up. "The Mask of VaLir." He said glaring at J H. J H nodded. "As long as I get the Mask I'll help you and your little resistance." He said. The resistance comprised of a variety of former heros and villains who all had a special hatred for Ludwig. There was Elijah and Decep two former members of the Hacker Squad, Jest, a small boy whose body was possessed by the Jester, Entos the former wielder of the Blade of Light now using the Blade of Shadows, and Pyro a former Reaper whose squad was murdered by Ludwig's Squad. They seemed to define the word ragtag. J H siged. "So, how shall we attack?"

Ludwig stood atop Metro Inc's multimillion dollar headquarters. Ludwig was a tall 20 year old man. He wore all black and had a large cape. His brown hair was well combed. He had two different colored eyes; one was light blue the other bright green. He grinned, as he pulled out a director's baton. "Ah, what beautiful music." He said and he became to move the baton in a very smooth pattern. Fires began to spread though the city, people screamed in both horror and agony. Ludwig played onward. Entire building began to collapse, people were dying left and right. Ludwig played onward.  A woman dressed as witch tapped Ludwig's shoulder. Ludwig sighed. "You better have a good reason for interrupting me Ghost. Or do I have to break your legs again?" He said turning around. Ghost cringed at the thought of being punish again. "It's….it seems the resistance is attacking our base again." She said. Ludwig sighed. "When will they learn, I'm unbeatable. Gather the team we're going to finish them." He said walking past Ghost. By the time Ludwig had reached the bottom floor his team was already gathered there. Ludwig smiled. "Right, time to take out the trash." HE said exiting the building. Outside his loyal forces were locked in a battle with two of the resistance members, Pyro and Entos.  The two resistance members were wiping out his forces with ease, Pyro set them on fire while Entos cut through them with the Blade of Shadows. Ludwig grinned. "Decay, kill the girl." He said. Decay reacted immediately, jumping at Pyro.  Pyro screamed as Decay's claws punctured her skin. "Pyro!" Entos yelled rushing over to help her. Ludwig began to move his baton. He grinned.

"You sure this will work?" J H asked Elijah as they entered the base. "I'm not sure Pyro and Entos will last long enough." Elijah nodded. "We better hope they last long enough." The two had entered the main area of the base. It was full of mementos from old battles and a decay corpse. "Oh god, is that Hacker?" J H asked in horror. Elijah simply nodded. He began to look though the mementos. "The Mask should be here somewhere…." He rooted around until he found a golden mask. "Here it is." He said, but before he could give it to J H blood burst from his chest. J H jumped back in surprise. Elijah fell to the ground dead. "Thank you for luring him out." Ludwig said with a smile. "He was becoming quite the problem."J H stood in silent amazement. Ludwig picked up the Mask. Decay walked in carrying Ghost's corpse. "Your friends were able to take out one of my team members, but they're gone now." Ludwig said. "I know you're here for this, so I'll give it to you under one condition. You leave and never come back. Understood?" J H nodded. Ludwig threw the Mask to the ground. J H picked it up, as he did Ludwig stabbed in the stomach with his baton which was now incredibly sharp. "Idiot." Ludwig said with a sadistic smile. "S-says you." J H said, his body suddenly transforming into Jest. "I hope you rot in hell." Jest said pressing down on a trigger in his hand. Jest exploded. Ludwig acted fast and shielded himself and was able to block most of the damage from the explosion. Decay was not so lucky, he was blow apart. Ludwig sighed. "That was close…" He said. His eyes widened as J H entered the room. J H walked up and took the Mask, which was somehow unharmed by the blast. "I'll be taking this." He said. Suddenly an arm grabbed Ludwig's neck from behind. "Funny how a big bang like that can knock some sense into someone." Decay said, now fully reformed. "Makes someone remember all the shit you've made them do." His claws began to burrow into Ludwig's neck. "H-help." Ludwig stammered at J H. J H looked at Ludwig and said. "I don't like to interfere." And then he was gone, leaving Ludwig with the enraged Decay. Ludwig's screams echoed though the building.
